Republicans diss Egghead Jim (R) to favor Batshiat Crazy Harry (R)

Jim Bennett is a Republican. Harbhajan Singh Ahluwalia (aka Harry Walia) is a Republican.

One of them is a crook and a con-man. The other is a nerdy egghead.

They are running against each other for Seat 4 on city council, an allegedly non-partisan race.

So guess which one of those two is being backed by the local Republican Party.

Hint: it ain't the egghead.

At the SunFiesta this past weekend, Bennett's signs kept disappearing from the Republican tent. What signs of his that remained kept getting knocked over. That's according to Bennett. Ahluwalia's signs remarkably stayed put. The Republican float in the parade likewise favored Ahluwalia, as it was covered with the unartful dodger's signs, despite complaints from Bennett that he was being dissed.

Ahluwalia has been a big time donor to other Republicans. Bennett hasn't.

Lesson learned: Republican ethics get very fluid when money is involved. Given all of the scummy behavior that I have already documented on Ahluwalia, I think if I could prove that he cooks and eats dead babies, the Republicans would still back him en masse.

Nancy Detert and Doug Holder still love him. Go figure.

Then there's this email chain below from the party, still giving him support. Go figure.

Wonder how supportive they'll be when his money dries up from all of the lawsuits that he's involved in?
